Quitting

Last day of vacation.  I'm exhausted.  Every mom everywhere should get a day after vacation to relax.   Repacking, trying to remember everything, and getting home and unpacking.

First thing was Vitalbiome, Slim and Metaburn.

So breakfast was fruit, cheese and eggs with x-factor and Ease.

Midmorning had Active by the pool with Ella.  Fruit snacks for a snack and BioCleanse plus a ton of water.

I forgot a lunch picture- I had grilled chicken sandwich and some fries.  Water, water, water.
Midafternoon BioCleanse when I got home.  Fruit snacks for a snack again. Maybe we shouldn't buy more of those for awhile.

Dinner was super unhealthy.  Chinese deliciousness with Balance.  Tons of fried junk but some veggies....so still bad.

And then Ella (okay, me) wanted some dessert so we went on an ice cream run.

Here's the interesting part.  This week's theme is quitting.  Week 3 is often when people give up.  It's getting real and quitting is easier than actually changing our habits.

Dave Hollis said something today in the Start Today morning show about how one of our worst habits is actually quitting.  We get so good at quitting, we often just need to learn how to NOT quit, no matter the goal.

I felt that one for real.  The times I've stuck with stuff had little to do with what the goal was (hard or easy) and more to do with my attitude and whether I was willing to give up.

So tomorrow is a new day, I'm back at home, and I'm ready to get back on the wagon.  AND I've already kept 2 promises to myself- my daily gratitude and goal setting, and not drinking soda/alcohol.  It would have been easy to just do it once or twice this weekend, but I didn't.  Because I promised myself.  And I'm not breaking that promise.

Blessings in Health and Happiness-
