Happy New Years! Last I posted was New Years morning, I had just completed my running and drank my Lean/Collagen Smoothie to kick the New Year off Right!
After tons of water and BioCleanse, I had some grapes as a snack, and for lunch a low-carb turkey wrap!
More water, BioCleanse but then started to get a sinus headache. A friend took Eli for awhile to play and while Lyle and the rest of the family had salmon per our meal plan for dinner- I went with noodle soup to help loosen the congestion. This is Mrs. Grass soup which is no where on the meal plan but always my go-to when I'm sick in any way. I didn't add any extra noodles or crackers like I always do though, so I'm counting it as a healthy! I also had 2 turkey sticks a little bit later for a snack since that and decongestants were helping.
More water, Probio5, Ease, and Mega-X then off to bed.
Got up the next morning, drank my Active/Slim, took my Vitalbiome and met my friend for a 5k training run. Lots of coughing and a rough go. Then got Lyle out of bed and we lifted weights and did the "walk" (he took off running which I couldn't catch up), and then Ella and I wrapped up with a mile of intervals. Breakfast we made egg "muffins" the night before and got them out of the fridge- they warm up easy. Took my x-factor, Ease, Metaburn and prescription medications with it.
Water, water, water, BioCleanse and grapes for a snack again.
With decongestants kicking in, started feeling better- just a little congestion- and family visited before flying home to Indiana. So we took them to a local place called "The Catfish Place". I had a side salad, shrimp and tenders with fries and hush-puppies. I ate 1 and 1/2 off the hush-puppies (because from this place you HAVE to) and maybe 4 fries? Not much. Mostly the meat and salad.
We had a beautiful Florida afternoon and sat in the backyard talking. I was still drinking down my water and had my BioCleanse. I started getting a little congested again as the afternoon wore on and I dabbed some Ease Cream on my chest and head to try to help open up and relieve headache.
Dinner was supposed to be green beans and smoked sausage- I had a little but also had some more of my sick soup.
More water, Probio5, Ease, and Mega-X and I was in bed asleep by 8:30 PM.
I get ill so rarely it's like an insult to my being. I think since I've been running on full for awhile now that I have time to focus on me and relax, not to mention trying to get on a new system, my immune system is a little low. I hope I bounce back quick, which I normally do, especially without all the junk in my eating to flair it all up. (sugar feeds bad stuff y'all)
So that's what's up now. I just woke up and did my gratitude practice for today and getting ready to mix my Slim.
